On the gas side, Chicago households are served by Peoples Gas within city limits, with North Shore Gas covering some north-suburban ZIPs. Illinois lets you shop the gas supply charge separately from the delivery charge, so a full 'dual fuel' switch in Chicago is really two independent contracts, one filed through ComEd and one through Peoples Gas.
